2009

• KaBOOM! and Home Depot have partnered to provide a playground at 4343 Williamsbourgh Drive, 95823. Installation will take place, Thursday September 24, 2009.
• American River College Horticulture students donate vegetables for children's garden.
• February Massage-a-thon raises $900 for a playground.
• Local business and community volunteers restore vandalized children's garden & provide building improvements for our South site building.

2008

• Strategies for Change average client treatment completion rate (62%) double that of County and State averages.
• Strategies for Change Youth Counselor Jesse Davis recognized for youth development and receives the Heart of a Leader Award.
• Agency receives the 2008 Outstanding Nonprofit Organization Award.
• Agency recognizes by the Sacramento Business Journal as one the 100 Fastest Growing Companies in the Sacramento Region (nonprofit category).
• Executive Director is one of 15 National finalist for the Community Health Leaders Award (Robert Wood Johnson Foundation)

2007

• Strategies for Change obtained Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) Certification.
• Purchase of building at 4343 Williamsbourgh Drive, Sacramento 95823.
• Executive Director and Lead Counselor honored by Sacramento County Board of Supervisors and each presented the 2007 Heroes of Human Service Recognition award.
